Downhill these days requires above-average physical ability. Downhill is a mix of specific strength, endurance, agility, concentration and technical skills. We designed our program to combine all these elements and prepare you for the toughest tracks. Our workouts will help you eliminate muscle pain and shortness of breath, while allowing you to focus on your riding skills.

Who is it for?

For any person who wants to improve their fitness and Downhill skills. Whether you are an advanced rider or just starting out. The workouts are scaled, so you can easily adjust the level to your abilities. In addition, we include alternative exercises in each workout, taking into account gender and equipment capabilities, so you can choose what type of exercise you will do.

We know how important your time is, so we’ve designed the workouts to give you the most benefit in the shortest amount of time.


Train at the gym or at home

Inside the program you will get two versions of strength training – a plan to do at home without equipment (TFS Home) and a plan for gyms (TFS Gym). TFS Downhill includes 2 priority strength workouts plus a third additional one.

Endurance workouts

Program includes 2 endurance workouts on the bike per week. If you don’t have the option of cycling then use alternative versions like running, a trainer or other cardio equipment.

Flexible program

The program calls for a minimum of 2 workouts per week and a maximum of 6 workouts per week. Depending on your level and available time, you choose how many session you will do.

We know it’s hard to train all year round, so you can cancel your subscriptions at any time and join back whenever you want.


Workouts are programmed according to the periodization of the annual training plan. This means that they last the whole year. This ensures that no matter when you join the program you will receive workouts that are appropriate to the time of the season. We have also prepared regressions and alternative exercises in each workout. With this solution, no matter what level you are and what period of the season we have, you will take 100% out of the training program.

Won't the training be too hard for me?

It is possible to scale the level of exercise in each workout. If you find that you are unable to perform a certain movement, you can use an alternative exercise. This way, you can be sure to benefit from our training regardless of your level.

In addition, as part of each training program you also receive a TFS Intro Program, which is designed for beginners. It will help you learn to perform exercises correctly, go through basic progression and prepare you for the main program.

What do I need for training?

As part of the training program, you get 2 versions of strength training: Gym and Home. You decide which program you will follow. You can stick to one of them or mix it up during the week. At the gym, we use basic equipment such as barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull-up bar, box, gymnastic rings or TRX. In contrast, you don’t need any equipment to train in the “Home” version. You will do most of the exercises with just your own body weight, but additional accessories like resistance bands, dumbbells or a pull-up bar are welcome 😉

We design endurance workouts with the bike or bike trainer in mind. An alternative option is running, Airbike or rowing ergometer.

Which training program to choose?

Start by asking yourself what discipline is your priority and choose the right one. If you are doing more than one discipline for eg. Downhill and Enduro then choose the one that prepares you for longer efforts – in this case, that is TFS Enduro. On the other hand, if you have non-standard needs and would like more attention from the coach, then choose individual training program.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into “My Account“. On this page you will see the programs you currently have purchased and can fully manage them, simply and conveniently. If you decide that for some reason Train For Skills is not for you you can unsubscribe the same day in seconds.
